Summary:

The new member of the Human Resources team will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks. The Human Resource Administrative Assistant will be a highly resourceful team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism. The new member will work under the Human Resources manager and alongside the rest of the Human Resources team.

Responsibilities:

• Complete a 3-month, self-driven training course
• Complete a variety of tasks in Human Resource Administration; assist in coordinating HR policies, processes, programs, and relevant documents
• Maintain personnel records in accordance with HR regulations
• Process enrollments, changes, and terminations of participants in all benefit plans and programs
• Participate on the Safety Committee and be directly involved in improving employee safety
• Handle matters expeditiously and proactively; follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
• Succinctly, accurately and professionally communicate information verbally and in writing
• Maintain and respect confidentiality of information

Qualifications:

• Academic background or work experience in Human Resources preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Extremely detail-oriented personality
• Professionalism in the workplace
• A friendly personality with a desire to help our internal and external customer’s lives
• Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats
• Stable employment history
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all types and levels of individuals
