Summary:

The Corporate Trainer will be a new member of the Human Resources team and will be experienced in handling a wide range tasks.  The Corporate Trainer will be a highly resourceful team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.  The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete a 3-month, self-driven training course
  • Work with managers to develop a training program for department positions
  • Train on technology including Microsoft Office products
  • Learn and train on the company’s point of sale system
  • Handle matters expeditiously and proactively; follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Succinctly, accurately and professionally communicate information verbally and in writing
  • Maintain and respect confidentiality of information

Qualifications:

  • Academic background or work experience in training on specific positions, technology, and safety
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Extremely detail-oriented personality; professional
  • A friendly personality with a desire to help our internal and external customers
  • Able to communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats
  • Stable employment history
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with all types and levels of individuals
