Administrative Assistant to Sales Professionals


The new member of the Administrative Assistant team will support our sales professionals and be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and will be a highly resourceful team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Administrative Assistant will have strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills. This individual will excel in a company that provides exceptional customer service through holding employees to a high level of performance and accountability. There is no sales involved in this position.  It is Bekins’ goal to provide a stable work environment focused on developing the healthy lives of our employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing daily sales reports for sales team and management
  • Assisting sales staff by preparing professional quotes and spec packets
  • Using computer software in several different applications
  • Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Receptionist duties

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in clerical or administrative support position
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (This is one day off during the week and working every Saturday)
  • Intermediate level MS Excel experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • A friendly personality and desire to help our internal and external customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Professionalism
