Peanut Butter War to support Hand2Hand

Over the past few weeks, our three locations have been in a battle to see who can collect the most jars of peanut butter for Hand2Hand.

Hand2Hand is an organization that connects churches with a local school to provide food to children that are at risk of going without it over the weekends.

One large area of their food collection is peanut butter. One jar of peanut butter is sent home with each child who is in need once a month, and can help provide towards many meals and snacks.

In total, all of our locations were able to collect 263 jars of peanut butter!! Bekins has also decided to match employee donations for a whopping grand total of 526 jars!

Wondering which location won?

Coopersville Peanut Butter

Coopersville collected a total of 26 jars!

Grand Haven Peanut Butter Pyramid

Grand Haven

Grand Haven collected a total of 74 jars!

Grand Rapids Peanut Butter Pyramid

Grand Rapids

Our Grand Rapids locations collected a whopping 163 jars making them our winner!

Congratulations Grand Rapids!

We all had a great time battling it out to see who could come out on top, but the greatest reward is knowing that our donations will help make a difference in the life of a hungry child.
